Voodoo Magic Slot Review
Voodoo Magic is a Pragmatic Play 5×4, 40-line video slot released on 7 January 2021. RTP is 96.50%, volatility is high and the maximum win is 1,000x the stake. There is no progressive jackpot.
The art is a back-room voodoo tent: a priestess, a bubbling cauldron, skulls, crocodiles and card royals. The soundtrack changes on features.
Pragmatic Play also supplies lower-RTP versions, so check the help screen at the casino you use.
Features: wilds, mystery symbols, bonus symbols, a three-card free-spin pick, two random spin features and a bonus buy where offered.

Voodoo Magic Bonus Features
The engine is 40 left-to-right lines plus bonus features. Mystery symbols all turn into the same random symbol, which can complete several lines at once.
A buy button, where legal, starts the free spins for 80x the stake. No account casinos that list Pragmatic Play often stock this title.
Wilds
The wild appears on all reels and substitutes for every symbol except the bonus symbol.
Scatters
The bonus symbol lands only on reels 2, 3 and 4. Three of them start the free-spin pick. Two on reels 2 and 3, without one on reel 4, start a random spin feature instead.
Free Spins
Three bonus symbols award a pick of one of three cards. Each card reveals a free-spin mode with 5 spins and extra mystery symbols on the reels:
- Voodoo Free Spins: minimum round win of 10x the total bet
- Super Voodoo Free Spins: minimum round win of 25x the total bet
- Mega Voodoo Free Spins: minimum round win of 50x the total bet, with mystery symbols that turn only into wilds or premium symbols
If the round ends below its minimum win, it continues with 5 more free spins until the minimum is reached. Bonus symbols do not appear during the round. A round that reaches 1,000x ends immediately.
Bonus Features
When two bonus symbols land on reels 2 and 3 without one on reel 4, you pick one of two potions to start a random feature:
- Mystery Curses: a random number of wilds is added to the grid
- Fortune Hex: low pays and bonus symbols disappear and new symbols fall until only high pays remain
Buy Feature, where offered, starts the free spins for 80x the stake. Some markets hide the button.
Voodoo Magic Jackpot
There is no Voodoo Magic progressive jackpot. The ceiling is 1,000x the stake. The free-spin minimums are round minimums, not a jackpot.
RTP and Volatility
RTP 96.50%, high volatility, 1,000x max win. Pragmatic Play also supplies lower-RTP versions, so check the help. RTP is not a measure of cashout speed; for that, see fast payout casinos. For how high volatility behaves, see high volatility slots.
Play Voodoo Magic Slot Online for Free
Set a stake, press spin or space. Wins evaluate left to right on 40 lines. Demo credit is not cash. Some markets hide practice play.
Three matching symbols from reel 1, continuing right, is a line. Features sit on top of that.
Voodoo Magic Mobile Play
HTML5. Same 5×4, 40 lines on a phone or tablet. Buttons scale. Buy Feature, if the desktop client has it, follows the same market rules on mobile.
Final Thoughts
Voodoo Magic is a Pragmatic Play 40-liner: 96.50% RTP, high volatility and a 1,000x max win. Play it for the three free-spin modes and the random features. Skip it if you want a bigger max win.
Bonus symbols can start free spins or a random spin feature. Autoplay does not change the maths.
